Balayage and ombre are techniques whereby a
colorist would 'paint on' highlights or color,
to create a sun kissed look, or the grown-out
ombre color effect. Another added benefit of
balayage and ombre are longer lasting results.
Since the grow out at the roots isn't as
obvious, you can wait a litter longer before
getting a touch up. Foils usually require a
visit to the salon every six weeks, but with
balayage and ombre, you can go longer.
